About us

Nestling in the heart of beautiful Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Wellington is a welcoming and traditional country inn dating back to the 18th Century. Just a few miles from the elegant spa town of Harrogate, The Wellington is at the foot of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which has some of the most striking and beautiful scenery in the country.



With twelve newly refurbished guest bedrooms, The Wellington is an ideal retreat for walkers, couples, friends and families. Our highly acclaimed restaurant, which has stunning views over the Dales, serves a mouth-watering selection of dishes, most with locally sourced Yorkshire ingredients. We also have a specials board to showcase the talent and passion of our chefs.
